A great way to keep your cutting boards bacteria free.
Often we don't have a lot of time to clean up after preparation of that perfect dinner evening, so here's some easy solutions for keeping your cutting boards clean. To sanitize wooden cutting boards, use approximately 2 tablespoons of Clorox(R) regular-bleech per gallon of water to create a sanitizing solution.
Wash, wipe, or rinse with dishwashing detergent and water, then apply the Clorox(R) solution. Let stand for 2 minutes. and rinse with water. To prevent wood from cracking or warping do not submerge in water or soak overnight.
Worried about odor?
Reduce cutting board odor by rubbing down the board with a halved cut lemon and then rinsing with cold water.
